Sammy Hagar Donates $2,500 To Local Foundations

Rocker Sammy Hagar did something to help the local community before his concert at Artpark last week. He made a donation to Heart, Love and Soul and Community Missions in Niagara Falls.

The Hagar Family Foundation gave them a check for $2,500 to help with food services for the less fortunate. This donation counts toward the weekly "Cash & Cans" collection that takes place at Artpark on Tuesdays.

Community Mission has described this as the first donation made by a performer in the 11-year history of the drive.

It should be noted that on every stop of the Sammy Hagar and The Circle Tour, a donation is made to an organization, or in this case, two organizations.
