Handgun Found In Purse During Airport Security Check

An Erie County woman was stopped at the Buffalo Niagara International Airport after authorities found a handgun in her purse.

TSA officers discovered the loaded pink gun at the security checkpoint. It was loaded with five rounds, including one in the chamber.

According to NFTA officials, the gun was confiscated but the woman had a valid NYS permit it. She will not be prosecuted.
