Multiple Accidents Shut Down Part Of The Thruway In New York

The snow is falling, the winds are whipping and visibility is an issue for many drivers across New York State.

Parts of Western New York remain under a Lake Effect Snow warning through Thursday evening. Several feet of snow have fallen so far this week across the region.


While the travel ban has been lifted for all of Erie County and Western New York, people are encouraged to stay home today if possible.

The New York State Thruway Authority just announced a multiple vehicles accident that has shut down parts of the 90 in Western New York. The left lane of the I-90 heading westbound between the I-190 and the 400 is closed due to an accident.
