Have you ever thought about how often you lie? C'mon everybody has lied before, sometime in your life you've told a little white lying, or fibbed so you wouldn't hurt someones feelings or exaggerated the truth to make a story better.

When questioned the average person said that they lie about 48 times a year. Seems a little conservative.

What are some of the most common lies? I had a feeling you'd ask:

  1. Telling a lie about why you arrived at work late.
  2. Telling someone that "everything is fine".
  3. Saying you're on your way, when you aren't.
  4. Saying you like a gift when you don't.
  5. Lying about your age.
