Buffalo is truly a unique place. For those of us who grew up here in the Western New York area, Buffalo is not just a city with a great football team and excellent food, it is family.

Buffalo is family. That's how I refer to it because, for me, Buffalo is a all about the people. Yes, the weather can be rough and yes, we live and work in one of the most taxed areas in the United States. But ask anyone who left Buffalo and came back and they will tell you that we have some of the most generous and thoughtful people on the planet living right here in the 716. Not to mention, an incredible history and some of the best architecture anywhere.

But beyond the great people and food and sports and buildings, you can add geography to the list of reasons why we love Buffalo. We sit on two of the best fresh water resources with Lake Erie and Ontario and the power of Niagara Falls is simply breathtaking! But you don't have to take my word for it, national celebrities who grew up here are equally as proud of the Western New York area.
