Nineteen-year-old Buff State student Amber Simone Chinn was born with a birth defect where parts of the skull fuse together too early, so the brain doesn't grow the way it's supposed to.

Amber had surgery at six months old, and doctors didn't think she'd ever breathe on her own, which meant getting a tracheotomy to put a breathing tube in, meaning she might never speak.

Well, she DID start breathing on her own, and now, a video of her singing at a friend's graduation party has gotten millions of views on Facebook.  Here's the YouTube video:

The song she's singing is by Jhene Aiko.

Amber majors in music and psychology, but she's also trying to launch a music career and is working with a producer on her first single.

Congrats, Amber!
