Western New York Pizzeria Name One Of The Best In 2022

That is why it was awesome to see that a local Western New York pizzeria made the list of the best pizzerias in the world this year.

The Guide to the Best Pizzerias in the World is published by 50 Top Pizza including Kenmore New York's own Jay's Artisan Pizzeria in their rankings.

Jay's Artisan Pizza was rated as the 13th-best pizzeria in America and the 71st-best pizzeria in the world in 2022.

Now Jay's Artisan pizzeria doesn't do pizza like most Buffalo area pizzerias. Jay's is true to the Neapolitan style of pizza which is made with a thinner crust and simple ingredients.

For a pizza to be called Neapolitan pizza, it has to be like the pizza served in Naples, Italy. This kind of pizza is made with simple and fresh ingredients. It uses a basic dough, raw tomatoes, fresh mozzarella cheese, fresh basil, and olive oil. That is it, no other toppings are allowed.
