U.B. Ranked Number 1 Public University

The University at Buffalo has nabbed the top spot among public colleges and universities in New York State in the 2019 Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education College Ranking.

The rankings were based on a survey that examined "a range of key issues, including students’ engagement with their studies, their interaction with their teachers and their satisfaction with their experience," according to a statement by UB.

The WSJ rankings place UB as the No. 1 public university in New York State, and at No. 120 among public and private universities nationwide.
