Time Is Running Out To File Your Income Tax

Time is running out to file your personal Income Tax...the deadline is April 15th...just about two weeks away.

For the last couple of filing seasons taxpayers have had a few extra days to file because of holidays, but not this year, as Tax Day returns to its traditional date.

“The fact that Tax Day is on April 15 might come as a surprise to some taxpayers who have come to expect a few extra days to meet their filing obligations,” said New York State Taxpayer Rights Advocate Margaret Neri. “Free resources are available on our website to ease filing and help taxpayers meet the deadline.”
