The Ten Lives Club in Blasdell recently announced that they were the recipient of a huge grant that will allow them to continue to save cats in Western New York.

According to their Facebook page, the non-profit was awarded $10,000 from the East Hill Foundation. The grant is part of the "Save our Cats" project and will allow the Ten Live Club to purchase new equipment.

The Ten Lives club is looking at buying a new feline serenity suite, a flat-top surgery table, and an autoclave.

So far this year, the Ten Lives Club has helped over 1600 cats in Western New York, and will the new grant money they will be able to house more cats as well as treat them and get them ready for adoption.

The East Hill Foundation is a local Western New Foundation with a goal of helping non-profits in Western New York enhance the quality of life for residents of the area

This is not the first infusion of funding the Ten Lives Club has gotten so far in 2021. The Ten Lives Club was the winner of Pacifico Beer's March Muttness challenge and took home the grand prize of $5000.

If you want to donate, volunteer or adopt from the Ten Lives Club, their main office in Blasdell is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 11 am until 6 pm. You can also look at cats and kittens up for adoption online at their website.
