Easter Bunny

The Buffalo snow is starting to melt, temperatures are warming up, and spring is almost here -- which means Easter is almost here! To celebrate, the Easter bunny will be coming to town. Here's where you can find him.

The past few weeks have been absolutely hilarious with Laura and nothing short of entertaining. I’ve learned a lot about her…perhaps even too much, but I don’t mind. Today, a mascot walked off the elevator at 7 this morning and she had a MELT DOWN.

The Easter bunny originated in early fertility lore.  the rabbit and its not too distant cousin, the hare were known as the most fertile animals, so they were chosen to symbolize new life during the season of spring.

A few years back, when my kids were much younger, we had a huge Easter egg hunt in our backyard.  Jerry got bales of straw and scattered them around.  We planted dozens of plastic eggs and many of our friends took part.  One of my friends' husbands even dressed up as the Easter Bunny.  I wish I had a video, or even a picture, to show you...  he was hysterical!  I may have forgotten the camera, but

I am looking forward to heading out to the Fisher Price Toy Store in East Aurora tomorrow to welcome the Easter Bunny!  Since my kids were little, I have spent a lot of time shopping there.  Tomorrow should be lots of fun!
