Daylight Saving Time

Did you remember to 'Spring' forward your clocks ahead one hour over the weekend? If not, we began Daylight Saving Time on Sunday (March 8th, 2015) at 2am, and now we'll enjoy more daylight. Comedian Daniel Tosh has an interesting take.

We got a little taste of warm weather this weekend, which means most of us are now itching for spring. There are plenty of signs the warm weather is coming: Daylight Saving Time. Easter. Darien Lake's opening day.

So, did you miss that extra hour of sleep? Yes, this morning at 2 a.m., we returned to "Daylight Savings Time". I found a pretty cool video that gives some explanation as to why we do this.

Set your clocks ahead one hour Saturday night.

During late Winter we move our clocks one hour ahead and "lose" an hour during the night and each Fall we move our clocks back one hour and "gain" an extra hour. But Daylight Saving Time (and not Daylight Savings Time with an "s") wasn't just created to confuse our schedules.
