We love hearing that our Buffalo Zoo family is expanding. Whether it is one of our beloved animals giving birth or someone relocating -- we love our furrier friends. Meet the newest addition to the Buffalo Zoo's family, Ash the Artic Fox! He is around two years old and came to the zoo in April...

I've mentioned many times that my favorite animals at the Buffalo Zoo are the otters (although George the Rhino is certainly giving them a run for their money).  I could seriously watch them for hours. They're fun, they're playful, they're just awesome.  And now there are even more otters to love!

Everyone loves a baby! On March 5, 2016, four lion cubs were born at the Buffalo Zoo.  Unfortunately, three did not survive, which is relatively common among African lions according to today's press conference.
