The Buffalo Sabres will not play the New York Rangers at First Niagara Center on Friday due to the snowstorm that swept the area. The NHL announced yesterday the game will be postponed.
This is a recent image of the NY State Thruway near LeRoy New York and it's closed. But for what reason many travelers are asking. The roads appear to be perhaps slick in spots or simply...just wet. The worst road conditions are well to the south of this area.
