I recently read an article in the New York Times and just had to share the good news with me fellow Buffalonians. If you were asked, where do you think young college grads go to live? You'd likely say San Francisco, New York City or even Nashville. Would you believe a higher percentage choose Buffalo, New York over San Francisco?

In case you haven't been along Hertel Avenue in Buffalo lately, it's growing! From the remodeled Foundry Hotel and Banquet Center near Elmwood Avenue to Spot Coffee and all along the avenue, you'll find wonderful Christmas decorations, live music, visits from characters from the North Pole, shopping specials, holiday spirits, food, and much much more.

If you haven't heard by now, I'm thrilled to once again be a radio personality in Buffalo New York. Above is a view through a window on the 12th floor of The Rand Building in downtown where the MIX 96 studios are located. I never knew just how historic this building is.

The most popular cereal brand in the U.S. is Cheerios, and it turns 70 this year! General Mills waterfront plant right here in Buffalo has been making Cheerios since 1941...you can still smell Cheerios in the air some mornings downtown.
