We were definitely spoiled by Sunday's "Summer Preview"...so what's in store as we approach the holiday weekend?

According to our partners at News 4...

Clouds thicken Thursday.  Showers, and a few thunderstorms become more likely later Thursday afternoon into Thursday evening.  The NWS Storm Prediction Center has placed our region at a slight risk for severe thunderstorms.

We're back to dry weather on a slightly cooler Friday along with plentiful sun.

Right now, the beginning of the upcoming holiday weekend looks as little "iffy."  At this early point in the week, it appears as though there will be some showers, and a few thunderstorms Saturday, mainly during the afternoon and evening.  There are indications that dry, and partly sunny weather should return for Sunday and Memorial Day.   Your 4Warn team will be tracking the holiday weekend forecast throughout the week.

Maybe we can squeak out some decent weather for the unofficial start of the Summer Season on Monday.;
