A major fire along with several explosions rocked St. Catherines, Canada this morning and they were loud that people in New York could feel it.

According to the Facebook page "The Southtowns Scanner" there was a massive fire at a hazmat facility in St. Catherines and the explosions were happening at the site of the fire.


My aunt lives in Lewiston, New York and she texted him that she could hear and feel the explosions this morning at her home. She lives around the corner from Artpark. She said that it felt like an earthquake this morning.

Fire departments from St. Catherines are on the scene of the fire. According to CP24.com, crews were called out to the scene around 6:30 this morning.


 

Police are asking people in the area to stay indoors until further notice. They are also asking for people to stay away from the area. 

 

Police will investigate the incident and are still in the early stages of finding out what happened.
