Someone End Robocalls Please

If you were to ask for a list of things people dread everyday...robocalls would be somewhere on that list.  The incessant, irritating day and night interruptions from people who you wish would...well insert your punishment here.

Sen. Charles Schumer is proposing new ammunition in the ongoing fight against robocalls.

Schumer is proposing much higher fines, eliminating the warning for a first offense and raising the statute of limitations on filing charges.

Schumer says phone companies already have the tools needed to block the calls.

 

Those calls that show up on your phone as local numbers, are really originating from another country and cannot be traced.
