It has been a pretty uneventful winter so far for much of New York State.

Besides a couple of snow events in January, it has been a dry winter and most places in New York State are well below average when it comes to snowfall.


So a lot of people are asking when the snow is coming to New York. Well, early weather models are showing a couple of storms set to move across New York next week and those storms could bring some significant snowfall to parts of New York State.

The latest weather models show possible heavy snow for downstate New York, including New York City for next week.

The rest of the state will be looking at very cold weather. Western and Central New York could end up seeing some snow but most of next week will be sunny and bitterly cold.
