A large weather front is expected to move across New York this weekend and with it will be heavy rain, gusty winds, and possible lake effect snow for parts of New York.

Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz was already warning residents in Western New York that possible strong lake effect snow this weekend could impact travel and the Bills' playoff game on Sunday afternoon.

The storm front is moving in from the West and will bring snowy and possible blizzard conditions to much of the Midwest and Northeast over the next several days.

This is the 3rd straight storm that is moving across the country. The last one brought lots of gusty winds, and while this storm won't be as windy, there could still be periods of damaging winds along with snowy conditions.
