Erie County Clerk, Chris Jacobs, is calling for an early county wide "Last Call", which would greatly affect the night life in Buffalo.

If the proposal is approved by the legislature, bars in Erie County will stop serving alcohol at 2:00 a.m. instead of 4:00 a.m.

Chris Jacobs said that the time change would put Erie County in line with the rest of the surrounding counties, and hopefully cut down on the number of people who cross county lines to go out.

Several bar owners and workers in Buffalo have mixed emotions regarding the possible change, and most feel that it will greatly effect their business in a negative way.

Chris Jacobs said that in the end, it's all about public safety.
