Parents Forget Child At Chuck E Cheese

Parents of a 3-year-old forgot their daughter at a Chuck E Cheese and failed to realize it until they saw her picture on the evening news.

The girl, was left behind at a Maryland restaurant after she attended a party with her parents.

According to a Sheriff's report, both parents assumed the girl had gone home with other relatives.

A restaurant manager alerted sheriff's deputies that the girl had been left behind after she asked an employee for something to drink.

Unable to locate the 3-year-old girl's parents, the local news media was asked by authorities to put her picture on the evening news.

Shortly after the 11 p.m. newscast, phone calls came into the Sheriff's Office, including from the girl's parents.
