New Mickey Rats to Open Up But With A New Name?

M.I.C.K.E.Y-------- MICKEY RATS!!!!!!!! The popular lakefront bar is coming back!

I didn't think they could keep closed this iconic lakefront bar. This has been a staple for us peeps in WNY.

"The beach, patio and a good portion of the existing bar in Evans will open once again this summer for business and fun-in-the-sun revelry,"

said William Paladino, CEO of Ellicott Development Co., which purchased the property last year with plans for a much larger redevelopment of the site. There have been rumors of them expanding and making apartments, and having it's "own thing." That isn't happening this Summer. But you can be assured, that the bar will be open with all of the fun antics, parties, fun in the sun, and everything else that comes along with it. 

Richi Alberts owned this establishment for 44 years. He retired in 2016 and an investor group led by Paladino bought Mickey Rats and Captain Kidd's Restaurant.
