A massive storm is developing along the East Coast and it will end up having an impact on parts of New York State this weekend.

The storm will start down in the Gulf of Mexico before moving up along the East Coast and it will bring heavy rain and very gusty winds to the Eastern Part of New York over the weekend.


The storm is expected to move into the area on Sunday afternoon and stay through Monday which could make the Monday morning commute hazardous.


According to Meteorologist Mike Masco, this storm is showing up on the radar like the massive storm in 1993.
