Make A Wish Western New York Bottle And Can Drive This Weekend

This Saturday you can take all those bottles and cans that are piling up around your home and use them to make wishes come true for kids who are part of the Western New York Make-A-Wish foundation.

This Saturday from 9 am to 3 pm, Tony Mastrangelo and his family will be holding their annual Mastrangelo Family's Wish Hero Campaign for Make A Wish WNY. They will be collecting cans and bottles at Shell Fab in West Seneca with the goal of raising at least $10,000 to help grant at least one wish for a child.

Tony and his wife started the fundraiser after experiencing personal tragedy in their lives.

On Christmas Eve 2020 my beautiful wife Sydney had a miscarriage at 13 weeks. We were shocked, devastated and depressed. It was the worst time of our life. For weeks we were not ourselves. In the Spring during a meeting I found out about the Wish Hero campaign for Make A Wish.

The Mastrangelo family has also teamed up with businesses across Western New York to help raise funds to meet their goal.

The Market in the Square raised over $2,500 from donuts, fish fries, and round up at the register
