Our News 4 (WIVB-TV) Meteorologists tell us that during the early morning hours, a mix of snow and rain showers will spread northward into the Southern Tier.  It will take some time for this precip to reach the Buffalo metro and is currently timing out around mid-morning today.

Friday will be mostly cloudy with just a chance of an early AM rain shower southeast of Buffalo, otherwise, the rest of the day is looking dry and slightly milder.  Saturday is looking pretty good, just mostly cloudy with room for a shower by early evening.  A more widespread cool rain returns by early Sunday, and eventually starts to mix with snow during the afternoon, possibly changing to all snow toward evening. Bottom line is that for any outdoor plans this weekend, Saturday will be the better of the two days.  We will be back to dry weather for Monday with slightly milder conditions on tap for next week even though most of the expectations are for highs just below average for this time of year.
