Popular Watering Hole set to Reopen for NCAA Tournament in Buffalo
With the NCAA Men's Basketball tournament on the horizon, and two days of games on the calendar for Buffalo and the KeyBank Center, a popular downtown watering hole is set to open its doors for the first time since the start of the pandemic.
The Labatt Brew House, located at 79 Perry Street in Buffalo, announced a couple of weeks back that it will be reopening soon. The 3,000 square foot facility which first opened in the fall of 2019, is made up of a brewery and tasting room and plans to open for large events at the nearby KeyBank Center, and the NCAA action is the first 'open' day that shows up on the Brewhouse events calendar.
Owned by Labatt USA, The Labatt Brew House is an innovation brewery that consists of a 10-barrel, four-vessel brewhouse, with 11 fermenters. Guests can enjoy a beer that is served straight from eight brite tanks, as well as experience the brewing process inside of the innovation brewery, and explore new beer styles that Labatt is working on.
Some of the unique brews they have offered up in the past include Raspberry Sorbet Sour, Dunk On ‘Em, You Gots To Chill, Berry Milkshake IPA, Rusty Stick IPA, and more.

Rich Andrews, chief executive officer of FIFCO USA, parent-company to Labatt USA said in a press release:
During the pandemic...With the cancellation of events and more limited traffic around the Labatt Brew House, we have chosen to keep it closed until we could devise a plan that made sense for Labatt.
The Labatt Draft Room, located next door, reopened last year. They serve over 20 local and regional beers on tap and offer a full menu of pub fare. The Draft Room is currently open Tuesday & Wednesday from 4 pm-11 pm, Thursday Noon - 11:00 pm, Friday & Saturday Noon-Midnight.
