Buffalo Bills Sign Project Player To Help Josh Allen

The Buffalo Bills didn't take the weekend off.

As the team gears up for the upcoming NFL draft next week, the team added a boom or bust player this weekend.

The team announced on Friday that they signed offensive lineman Kevin Jarvis to a one-year contract.

Jarvis was an undrafted free agent last year with the Detroit Lions. He was injured during training camp and was placed on injured reserve with an undisclosed injury. He was eventually released by the Lions without ever playing a game for them.

Jarvis would be what many experts call a project player. He has a big upside and could be a diamond in the rough or he could be out of the league before the season even starts.

At 6-foot-6 inches and 325 pounds. the Buffalo Bills love his size and he does have a history of winning. He played five seasons at Michigan State, where he started 39 of the 44 games he played in. In 2021, Jarvis earned the honorable mention All-Big Ten and started in all 12 regular season games that year. He started 8 games at right guard and four games at right tackle.

The Buffalo Bills are looking at several different ways to boost the offensive line to give star Quarterback Josh Allen more time to throw as well as some need help with the running game.

This offseason the Bills have signed several offensive linemen including Connor McGovern and David Edwards.

The Bills are also expected to add help to the O-line during this year's draft.
