Have you had an experience where you can't remember the fantastic concert you just attended because you were busy trying to figure out whether to livestream it on Facebook or post Instagram stories instead.

More than half of millennials surveyed say they've missed a life moment because they were trying to post it to social media.

This isn't something new, only the social media aspect is...I remember that I was the one to capture the kids opening presents on Christmas morning on the camcorder.  I always felt like I had been removed from the event itself.

And finally, it's not clear if they get the irony of this or not . . . but more than 90% say it's important for them to live in the moment.
