Ice Skate Open To The Public At New Era Field

This might just be the best Christmas gift ever for the ice skating Bills fan in your life. It’s just been announced that during the World Junior Hockey Championships later this month, fans will have the chance to skate on the outdoor ice at New Era Field.

The two public open skate events will take place on Wednesday, December 27 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., and Thursday, December 28 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

According to WIVB, “For $100, fans can skate and get a 300 level ticket to the Friday, December 29 game. The game starts at 3 p.m. Participants must bring their own skates, and anyone younger than 12 must wear a helmet.”
