High Wind Watch In Effect For Halloween

You might need to hold on to your Witches' hat this Halloween.  It's looking windy!

Plus there might be rain :-(

Unfortunately at this point, there is strong agreement between computer forecast models that rain will increase Thursday afternoon and evening with heavier downpours, and potentially damaging wind gusts.   Later Thursday night, the wind directions shifts to southwest and potentially damaging wind gusts will shift northward toward the Niagara Frontier including the Buffalo-Niagara Falls metro.  The window for the strongest wind gusts will start to close getting into Friday afternoon. 

And, then maybe snow!

As colder air sweeps in behind this storm system expect scattered mixed rain and snow showers which will taper off for the afternoon
