For years now we've been hearing that there is going to be a critical shortage of medical doctors that could seriously jeopardize your ability to get the care you need. For some strange reason, millions of Americans want millions of Americans to have trouble getting health care, well, they may be disappointed.

In an article published by NPR in their health section:

Millions of people are getting health insurance for the first time under the federal Affordable Care Act. At the same time, 10,000 baby boomers are qualifying for Medicare every day.

And that means along with new doctors...

Nonphysician primary care providers can include physician assistants, nurse practitioners, pharmacists and social workers, for example — often working together in teams with a medical doctor.

The experts are pleased that there has been an increase of enrollment in universities that train physicians and the evidence also shows a steady increase in other medical related fields of study as well.

So turn your head and cough America, The doctor will see you soon.
