Alright....first off I will say that New York has some of the best restaurants in the entire world and a wide variety of foods to pick from that any foodie would love to be here.

With that being said, New York is also primed to be the home to one of the grossest foods ever.

Because of the amazing places that serve this dish, there are way more opportunities to turn a must-have dinner or lunch into a toss it right into the trashcan meal.

The grossest food in New York......

COLD PIZZA

Yep, you heard me right. If you enjoy opening up the fridge, grabbing a cold, stiff piece of pizza, and down it with your morning coffee, you are committing a major food folly.

The biggest problem is that there are so many amazing pizza places that getting a hot slice of pizza is one of the best food you can get in the state. But as soon as you let it sit, get cold, and let all that gooey cheese solidify, you ruin the whole thing.

There are plenty of foods that when eaten cold make for great leftovers. Chicken wings, Chinese food, and thin-cut pork chops just to name a few. Why would you tempt the upset stomach gods with a slice of cold pizza?

I understand that lots of people enjoy cold pizza, but can you honestly tell me that cold pizza tastes better than a slice of pie that comes right out of a brick oven which a crunchy crust and hot melty cheese on top? I don't think so.
