Grab that extra blanket tonight.  It's going to get cold  In fact, the first frost advisory of the season is issued for most of WNY this evening.


WGRZ reports:

Frost Advisory has been issued for Erie, Genesee, Wyoming, Cattaraugus and Chautauqua counties from midnight Friday night until 9 a.m. Saturday morning. Temperatures overnight tonight could drop into the mid-30s allowing a frost to form.

However, It looks like areas close to the lakeshore, such as Niagara and Orleans Counties will not be hit:

Freeze Warning has been issued for Allegany County were temperatures could go below freezing for a few hours Saturday morning.
