Hopefully, you have had a chance to enjoy this shot of Spring because mother Nature has not forgotten what season it is and snow is on the way.

Looking ahead to next week, a major cold front is coming to sweep across the state, and with that comes much colder temperatures and snow.

Several weather models including the GFS and the Canadian model show that widespread snow is expected to come across New York and the entire Northeast.


 

So far this winter it has been relatively dry across New York State when it comes to snow. The snow belts like in Western and Northern New York got hit twice with major snow storms, but the rest of the state is looking at below-average snow totals.    

 

It looks like the snow is expected to move in late Tuesday night and then move West to East across the state for the rest of next week.
