Family Dollar Issues Massive Recall Of Advil In New York
An issue with the way bottles of Advil were stored has led to a massive recall across New York.

Family Dollar has issued a recall for certain Advil products after the company was alerted that some stores did not store the drugs at the proper temperatures. The US Food and Drug Administration is working with the company to pull the affected brands off the shelves.
The FDA announced that the affected products were stored and shipped around June 1, 2022, through March 31, of this year. The products are being recalled due to products being stored by Family Dollar outside of labeled temperature requirements.

No sickness or injuries have been reported in connection with these products yet and if have any of the items at home you are encouraged to return them to the store where you purchased them for a refund.

If you have bought and used the affected product and don't feel well, the FDA is advising people to contact their local doctor and then submit a report with them using the FDA's MedWatch Adverse Event Reporting program either online, by regular mail, or by fax.
