Our mini-Spring is here in New York and enjoy it while you can, because things will change fast next week.

This week a major warmup is on the way to New York State.

Temperatures could reach near record highs for some parts of the state. In Western New York, there is a chance we could see the upper 50's on Thursday and Friday.

The record high for Buffalo on February 8th is 63, on February 9th it is 62 and on February 10th it is 57. In central New York, there will be some rain along with the warm-up. Again temperatures are expected to be around 20 degrees above normal with highs in the 50s.

It will be a decent week for sunshine and warmer weather but that will change next week as an arctic blast is coming our way. Temps will drop down to closer to the daily averages next week, which are in the 30s.
