More lake effect snow is expected to fall across most of Western New York by drive time tonight through tomorrow. We could see between 5 and 12 inches according to the National Weather Service.

The chance for precipitation is 100% tonight with new snow accumulations throughout Western New York.

Travel is discouraged in the persistent lake effect snow belts tonight, but if you must, use extreme caution. The high wind gusts will continue with blasts of over 30 mph causing blowing snow, snow drifts and near zero visibility conditions at times.
