A husband, wife, and the man's father have been charged with possession of illegal weapons and criminal amounts of marijuana. Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn announced that the three individuals were arraigned on numerous felony offenses on the morning of Saturday, April 30, 2022, before Buffalo City Court Kevin J. Keane. Their arrests are the result of an investigation by the Erie County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics and Intelligence Unit. The three defendants are facing the following charges:

Couron L. Virgil-Mack, 32, of Buffalo,

One count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the First Degree (Class “B” violent felony)
One count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree (Class “C” violent felony)
One count of Criminal Possession of Cannabis in the First Degree (Class “D” felony)
One count of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fourth Degree (Class “E” felony)
One count of Criminal Possession of Cannabis in the Second Degree (Class “E” felony)

Brianna T. Virgil-Mack, 32, of Buffalo,

One count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the First Degree (Class “B” violent felony)
One count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree (Class “C” violent felony)
One count of Criminal Possession of Cannabis in the First Degree (Class “D” felony)
One count of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fourth Degree (Class “E” felony)
One count of Criminal Possession of Cannabis in the Second Degree (Class “E” felony)

Desmond D. McCloud, 52, of Buffalo,

One count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the First Degree (Class “B” violent felony)
One count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree (Class “C” violent felony)
One count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Fifth Degree (Class “D” felony)
One count of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fourth Degree (Class “E” felony)

On April 29, 2022, Erie County Sheriff's deputies executed a search warrant at a home on Grider Street in Buffalo at approximately 7:30 in the morning. They allegedly found several guns, five pounds of marijuana, and digital scales.

Sheriff's deputies executed a second search warrant at a business on Clinton Street and found approximately 10 pounds of marijuana. A third search warrant was executed at a house on Oakmont Avenue. During the third search officers allegedly found multiple illegal guns, including a stolen firearm, cocaine, and a digital scale.

The three defendants are due back in court today, Thursday, May 5, 2022, at 9:30 am. All three are being held without bail. Each is facing a maximum sentence of 25 years in prison if convicted.
