Last Minute Change To Upcoming Country Show At Darien Lake
If you have been waiting for the country concert at Darien Lake on July 8, you may want to be aware of some changes.
Dierks Bentley announced his 2022 tour “Beers On Me” in March, and Buffalo has been looking forward to this show, especially because he has two country stars joining him on tour: Travis Denning and Ashley McBryde.
The tour kicked off over a month ago, and it seemed like it was going well, but we received some unexpected news from Ashley McBryde’s team.
On Tuesday, June 28, there was a statement released by “Team Ashley” on her official Facebook page, regarding her future tour appearances with Dierks Bentley.
The statement read:
“Thank you all for the well wishes. For personal reasons, Ashley will not be performing for a few weeks. We will share more details regarding when she will be back on the road as soon as they become available, but she wants you to know that she loves you all and misses you and will be back soon stronger than ever!”
Fans became really concerned when they glanced at Ashley McBryde’s social media and noticed that she hasn’t posted since June 10. She has also canceled a few tour dates, including a few shows with Dierks Bentley.
Recently, Dierks Bentley shared that Elle King would be joining some of the shows for the Beers On Me Tour, but he did not directly address McBryde’s absence.
Elle King could potentially make an appearance at Darien Lake, but she does have a show at Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino on the same night. However, the concerts have different start times, and Dierks is good friends with Elle. Maybe we could see a collab?
The last time Ashley McBryde performed publicly was with Elle King during CMA Fest.
McBryde’s next show is supposed to be Friday, July 8 at Darien with Dierks Bentley, but it’s safe to say she won’t be making that show.
You can still buy tickets to see Dierks Bentley and Travis Dennis at Darien Lake here.
WYRK is sending well wishes to Ashley, and we hope she is able to return to the stage soon.
