Paul Santora is a name many in the Buffalo area are familiar with, not only for Santora's Pizzaria but because he is on a mission to help save local restaurants.

“We knew it was going to be a rough road for us, but we would get through it," Santora's said. "But I knew a lot of people in the restaurant industry who may not, and I was just really interested in helping them out.”

WKBW-TV reports that in December, Santora started the not for profit Revive Western New York Restaurants to provide financial support for local, independent restaurants that are struggling.

“We’ve gotten so many responses of people who said, you know, we’ve been trying to figure out how to help restaurants in the Western New York area, and this is just the perfect avenue to do so,” Santora said.

You can help with this effort. How?  Buy a pack of beer! A four-way variety pack of beers from 42 North, Community Beer Works, and Resurgence and Hamburg brewing companies is NOW available for purchase.

“This was really a no-brainer for us," President of Resurgence Brewing Company Jeff Ware said. "I mean, your local restaurants and mom and pop bars are our core customers. They're really an important part of our way to market. So if we can support them, we’re happy to do that.”

Each brewery created one special, unique beer for the variety pack, and 100% of the profit goes to Revive Western New York Restaurants. The variety pack is around $12.99 and can be found almost anywhere in the area that sells craft beers.

“I know that people are gonna support this. Buffalo always supports local. And that little spike will definitely help those restaurants out,” Ware said.
