You have to admit, we have some pretty old buildings in Buffalo.

In fact our oldest house according to trip advisor is on Seneca street in Cazenovia Park. It's adorable.

Turns out Buffalo has loads of older homes, this reported from WGRZ today:

Buffalo has the oldest housing stock of any major city in America, according to new statistics from the U.S. Census Bureau...Nearly two-thirds of the housing units within the City of Buffalo — 64.1 percent — were built prior to 1940. That's almost eight percentage points higher than the figure for any other U.S. city with a population greater than 250,000.

These stats are from a five-year aspect of the U.S. Census Bureau's 2017 figures.  It doesn't include any of Buffalo's suburbs, just the city itself.

Well, another thing about Buffalo builders, they knew what there were doing.
