Bass was a 6th-round draft pick by the Bills in the 2020 NFL draft.

Since joining the team, Bass has made 83 field goals out of 97 attempts for a field goal % of 85.6. He is also known for his strong leg and has recorded 170 touchbacks since joining the league.

It hasn't all been great. Bass was blamed for kicking the ball too far in the Kansa City Chiefs late game comeback with 13 seconds left. Many experts thought he should of squib the kick to run off sometime. Head Coach Sean McDermott also said that was supposed to be the play but there was a miscommunication with the kicker.

For his career, Bass has scored 405 career points which puts him 8th all-time on points leaders for the Buffalo Bills.

Steve Christie leads the team with 1.011 career points. He is followed by Rian Lindell with 980 career points and Scott Norwood with 670 career points.

With another good season, Bass could leap into 4th place in career points. Currently, that spot is shared between Andre Reed and Thurman Thomas who each scored 522 career points.

Bass will once again be with Reid Fergerson the Bills' long snapper and Sam Martin the Bills' punter in the special teams unit. Fergerson has been with the Bills since 2016 while Martin signed with the Bills last season.
