The Buffalo Bills are coming off a big win over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, but is the team going to make the playoffs?

The odds the Bills make the playoffs with three games remaining is around 71% according to The New York Times NFL Playoff Simulator.

The good news is that the Bills won on Sunday, the bad news is that several other teams also fighting for a playoff spot also won.

For the most part, if the Buffalo Bills win their three remaining games, they would finish with an 11-6 record and the New York Times have them at 99% chance of making the playoffs.

There is a 1% chance that the Bills would miss the playoffs if they win all three games. Of course, several other things would have to fall into perfect place.

Here is the scenario where the Bills miss the playoffs while finishing 11-6.

Heading into week 16, if Miami, Jacksonville, Cincinnati, or Indianapolis lose this weekend, the Bills would control their own destiny.

If for some reason the Bills were to lose one of the next three games and finish the season at 10-7, their playoff odds would be around 67%.

If the Bills were to go 1-2 over the next three games and finish at 9-8, their playoff odds would be less than 1%.

If the Bills were to go 0-3 they would finish at 8-9 and would miss the playoffs.
