The Buffalo Bills are waiting to see how bad their star quarterback Josh Allen is hurting after the Jets game on Sunday.

Toward the end of the game, Allen could be seen in physical pain and shaking his right arm.

Experts believe it is a UCL injury, which is the same injury that sidelined Allen for four games in 2018.

So if Allen can't go on Sunday, what do the Bills do?

There are some limited options since the NFL trade deadline passed. If this injury will keep Allen out for an extended period of time, the Bills could look at free agent quarterback.

One name that jumps out is former Bills, QB Ryan Fitzpatrick. Fitz retired this off-season and is currently doing work on TV, but could the chance to lead the Bills to a Super Bowl bring him out of retirement?

If Allen is only expected to miss a game or two, the Bills would rely on their current backup Chase Keenum.

Keenum has starting NFL experience, starting several games for the Cleveland Browns over the past two seasons.

While Keenum is not athletically as gifted as Josh Allen, he knows the offense well and could be the perfect stop-gap for the Bills over a two or three-week period.

We will see the Bills coaching staff earn their keep this week, coming off a tough loss to an AFC East rival on Sunday and possibly no Josh Allen on Sunday.

My prediction is Allen takes the week off, the Bills find their running and short passing game and sneak by with a 17-10 win over the Vikings on Sunday.
