Is This The Reason Bills Mafia Jumps Through Tables?

Four straight Super Bowls, Wide Right, Josh Allen hurdling linebackers, and of course Bills Mafia.
Since Bills Mafia started in the 2000s, it has grown to become a monster force for both the Bills and communities around Western New York.
When people think of Bills' Mafia they think of jumping through tables. It is a tradition that started in the tailgate lots around the stadium and if you ask anyone about the Bills Mafia they usually say, "Oh the fans that jump through the tables!"
So why does Bills Mafia jump through tables? I will be honest, I have no idea. But someone did ask that question on Facebook and while I don't think this is the truth, it does make for a great story.
According to a post on Facebook, the Bills Mafia jumps through tables because of those four straight Super Bowls.
Again I don't think that is the correct answer. My guess is that some fans were drinking and thought it would be funny and it grew from there.
But the above story is what I will tell my grandkids when they ask me about Bills' Mafia. Most origin stories start with heartbreak and losing four straight Super Bowls is a pretty big heartbreak for any NFL fan.
How do you think the table jumping started? Feel free to send me a message and let me know.
Go Bills!
