Battle For District 27 Continues

Even as Election Day has come and passed the battle between Rep. Chris Collins and challenger Nate McMurray in District 27 continues.

Just a couple hours after McMurray conceded the election, he is now demanding a recount in a closely contested race.

When the polls closed The Associated Press had Collins with 133,412 votes and McMurray with 130,316 votes.

Just before 1 AM this morning, McMurray called for a recount.

"Mr. Collins is going to need another set of lawyers," he said.
