A ‘Pink Easter Moon’ Is Coming on Good Friday, Don’t Miss it

Okay, so it's not actually colored pink, but still rather cool. It's April's full moon.

Plus with Earth Day this Saturday, moon viewing is a perfect warm-up.

Named for the pink flowers that are blooming in the spring, such as wild ground phlox or the common name "moss pink"

It looks like it might be cloudy this Friday in Buffalo, but If skies are clear at dusk sneak away to someplace high, a nearby hill, or even a third-floor apartment.  You don't need any special equipment, but if you have binoculars, that might be fun.
