5 Annoying Things People Do That Drives Us CRAZY!!

For the most part, most of us try to be courteous people when we are out and about in public.

But, there are some things that you might be doing that are rude and you have no idea that you being rude.

For example, this happened to me the other day at the doctor's office. I was sitting in the waiting room with a couple of other people when an old woman came in, signed in, and then sat down. She proceeded to grab her phone and start playing a game. I know she was playing a game because her phone was dinging and dinging with every candy she was crushing. Her volume was loud enough that everyone in the room turned to look at her when she started playing.

That is a big no-no. You should never use your phone with the volume turned up loud when you are in a public place. It is a distraction to everyone in the area.

With that being said, there are some things that you might do that are completely rude and might not even know it. Here are 5 things that people do that are annoying that you might not even know is being rude.

DON'T HOLD THE DOOR OPEN FOR SOMEONE ELSE

This is a simple common courtesy thing. When you are walking into a store or anywhere there is a door to get in, and someone is walking in behind you, you should hold the door for that person. On the flip side, if someone does hold the door, make sure you say "Thank You"

LEAVING YOUR SHOPPING CART IN THE MIDDLE OF THE AISLE

This again gives off "I am the only person who matters" vibes. I have seen this happen more and more with people leaving their carts in the middle of the aisle and walking up and down the aisle to grab stuff and put it back into the cart. Just take the cart with you!

FALLING ASLEEP ON A ROAD TRIP

Ok, there will be some debate on this one. My thoughts are that if you are going on a road trip that is longer than an hour, and you are not the driver you should be there to help entertain the driver. Not everyone wants that, but just don't be the person who falls asleep. The driver is not your Uber driver. You should be able to help them make the long road trip go by quicker.

LET YOUR PET JUMP ON SOMEONE

If you take your dog, cat, bird, or any other pet into a public place you should make sure you have them under control. You may love the fact that your pet jumps on you and licks your face but not everyone does. You should only allow interaction between your pet and someone else if they ask about your pet or ask to pet it.

STOPPING AS SOON AS THEY ENTER A STORE

This one is a BIG pet peeve for me and it is not just when people enter a store. It is when they get off an elevator, escalator, or anything where a line forms behind them. If you get out of an elevator where there are a lot of people or enter a store, just don't stop as soon as you get passed the door. If you are not sure where to go or want to take in the view, move to the side so people don't have to dodge you.
