If you are a pet owner there are a couple of dates you want to put into your calendar for the month of May.

Erie County will be holding two free rabies clinics during May and they have opened the registration for each one of them.

The first clinic will be held on Saturday, May 11th from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm at the Town of Tonawanda Highway Garage on 450 Woodward Ave in Kenmore.

The second clinic will be held on Saturday, May 18th from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm at the Buffalo Public School 84 parking lot at 462 Grider Street in Buffalo, This clinic will be a drive-thru only clinic.

I did this two years ago with my cat Stamp. We pulled right up. They grabbed Stamp's cat carrier, took her to the vet, who was right outside, and Stamp got her shot and was back in the car with me in about 5 minutes.

They also gave me the rabies paperwork so Stamp is covered for three years.

The clinics are free but you do have to sign up for a spot using Erie County's website. You can reserve your spot HERE.
